Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes and their families.
This will be the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and Medina's 13 annual T2T 5K. This year is going to be different for me. My son Aaron is always right there with me volunteering for the run as well as being with me for the race. This will be the first time he is missing it since we started participating as he will be joining the USAF in August.
This year I am raising money for T2T in honor of Aaron and the personal sacrifice he is making to serve our great country with pride. I am raising money for all of the people who came before and paid the ultimate sacrifice to guarantee you and I the freedoms we enjoy every day. I am raising money for the families of those we lost. Join me in helping T2T help others.
As a paramedic with first responder family members, as well as active military and military veteran family members, this fundraiser is more than personal to me.
