In 2024, our family's journey took an unexpected detour when Rob was diagnosed with lymphoma. The cancer was determined to have been caused by his exposure to toxins while serving in Kuwait and Afghanistan. The tumors that developed on his spine made walking unassisted difficult, but we're determined to keep this train moving forward.
Thanks to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, we've been given an amazing opportunity to have a smart home built that will help restore Rob's independence. We are walking this 5K, not just as a fundraiser, but as a way to give back to an organization that is truly changing our lives.
